Unhappy?

Ironic? Yeah I know that is a different song and different artist, but did you hear what happened in Iran? Six people got arrested, and were forced to give a public apology for singing and dancing to the Pharrell song "happy" (Click here to listen to the song) .

I know it sounds a bit crazy, but that is true. The Iranian government found out about the performance after it was posted on social media sites, and promptly arrested the six performers in the video. Really? Is Iran that messed up where you aren't even allowed to dance and sing the happy song? Unbelievable.

Of course after a bunch of backlash the government tried to justify the arrests by claiming that the six didn't have permission to post such a video online. In addition, the Tehran police chief stated "a vulgar clip which hurt public chastity was released in cyberspace". Rumors have it that men and women (all were teens) together in public and without wearing the traditional muslim hijabs don't bode well for the performers.

Come on everybody what is this world coming to if you can't dance and sing to the happy song? I guess these youngsters will not be dancing, singing and posting on the internet anymore because they're NOT happy. What do you think?
